In 2024, U of T was selected to be lululemon’s first Canadian collegiate collaboration, the garnering a lot of attention and excitement from, staff and faculty alike.
The launch party, hosted at U of T Bookstore’s St. George location, saw a long lineup of the U of T community eager to look at what the line had to offer. The collection featured a curated selection of beloved lululemon apparel and lifestyle items, with each piece is adorned with U of T’s signature colours and features.
The refined, subtle branding is featured on popular items from lululemon’s catalogue, such as Scuba Oversized Half Zip Hoodies, Define Jackets, the Align series, and the Everywhere Backpack. Partnerships with celebrated Canadian brands like lululemon brings merchandise and apparel to campus that builds and celebrate school spirit, and acts as a keepsake of a students’ time on campus.


The lululemon partnership is part of Trademark Licencing’s general focus on enhancing the student experience. TML looks for merchandise partnerships, collaborations and co-branding opportunities that help enhance the student experience on campus and foster a sense of University pride. The genesis of the partnership is the sheer popularity of the brand among students and staff.
